Jay LaPlante Killed After a Motorcycle Crash on Vista Del Mar in Playa del Rey, Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA (March 23, 2022) – Jay LaPlante (48) died after getting into a motorcycle accident on Vista Del Mar in Playa del Rey, Los Angeles. According to the MB News, the incident happened at around 6:15 am on Monday.
According to reports, LaPlante crashed his motorcycle into a car that suddenly turned left, getting right into LaPlante’s path. Then, the collision caused LaPlante to get thrown over the vehicle. Afterward, the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident stayed and cooperated with authorities.
Manhattan Beach resident Jay LaPlante died in a motorcycle accident involving a car that drove right in front of him on Vista Del Mar in Playa del Rey, Los Angeles.
LaPlante’s friends and family expressed their grief over the loss. They shared their sentiments in a GoFundMe page set up to raise money for funeral costs. They shared that LaPlante was a valuable member of their community.
The GoFundMe page stated, “Jay was loved and respected by everyone he worked with within the LA Car Guy auto group. He managed the Toyota Santa Monica and Lexus Santa Monica stores, as well as the Subaru Pacific and Santa Monica locations.”
According to the GoFundMe Page, LaPlante and his fiancé Jenelle Arnold (36) were supposed to welcome their first child, a daughter this coming summer. LaPlante’s friend Chris Gregory said to MB News, “If you were his friend, you were his family… He meant a lot to a lot of people. He was just an amazing human being.”
