Police Identified Jerry Nation as the Fatality in 14 Freeway DUI Crash in June
Antelope Valley, CA (July 20, 2023) – Jerry Nation (60) suffered fatal injuries in a 14 Freeway crash. According to HomeTown Station, the crash occurred at 8:40 p.m. on June 19.
Jerry Nation succumbed to fatal injuries in a 14 Freeway DUI crash in the center median near Escondido Canyon Road.
The authorities identified the fatality in a deadly 14 Freeway DUI crash on June 19.
The California Highway Patrol released the identity of the fatality as 60–year-old Jerry Nation.
Police confirmed that a Honda, driven by 36-year-old Joshua Lawson, headed in the center median to avoid other vehicles and came across a disabled 2006 Honda Accord with three occupants.
According to the report, “Lawson, driving at an unsafe speed in the center median attempting to pass slower traffic, came upon the disabled 2006 Honda. The front of Lawson’s 2022 Honda collided into the rear of (Party 2’s) 2006 Honda.”
Unfortunately, Nation, a Honda Accord rear passenger, succumbed to his injuries.
Moreover, police arrested Lawson on suspicion of alcohol intoxication during the crash.
Anyone with information on the collision is asked to call Officer B. Kellogg at the Newhall CHP Station at (661) 600-1600.
