The crash occurred at Wheeler Ridge and Herring Roads intersection when a Freightliner turned to avoid a Ford truck, but the Ford crashed into the front of the big rig, leading to a chain reaction.
The Ford then caught fire, while the Chevrolet involved in the crash stopped on the dirt shoulder.
Unfortunately, the driver of the Ford, Jose Luis Martinez, died at the scene.
Moreover, the official cause of his death will be released at a later time.
