Jose Zarate Rodriguez Lost His Life in a Mini-Motorcycle Crash in Southwest Bakersfield
Bakersfield, CA (March 16, 2022) – Jose Zarate Rodriguez (58) died in a collision with a sedan near Harris and Old River roads in Bakersfield. According to KGET, the incident happened at around 8:00 pm on Sunday.
According to authorities, they received a report about a crash between Rodriguez’s motorcycle and a sedan. Police arrived and found that Rodriguez’s mini-motorcycle was not street legal. Also, the motorcycle didn’t have lights on when the accident happened.

According to responders, Rodriguez died at the scene. Meanwhile, the sedan’s driver stayed at the scene to cooperate with any investigations. So far, authorities don’t believe that alcohol and drugs were involved in the incident.
