Sgt. Politano said that Pandy was traveling north on Challenger Way when he attempted to make a left or U-turn directly into the path of a southbound SUV.
The authorities also noted that he was not wearing a seatbelt during the crash.
Meanwhile, the SUV driver sustained minor injuries. Responders then transported them to a hospital.
Moreover, Sgt. Politano mentioned that it is unknown if alcohol or drugs played a role in Kannon Pandy.
