According to the San Diego police, a Toyota Tacoma headed northbound on Kearny Mesa Road when the driver struck a curb, causing the vehicle to go airborne before landing on a Honda sedan that had come to a halt at one of the drive-thru windows.
The driver of the Tacoma, a 23-year-old man, was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital due to the severity of his injuries. At present, his condition and identity remain undisclosed.
Meanwhile, the Honda driver reported experiencing pain while her front-seat passenger suffered a head laceration. In the vehicle’s rear, another passenger sustained fractured ribs and an ear laceration due to the collision.
