Pedestrian Dead After Being Struck By Three Hit-and-Run Drivers in Fullerton
Fullerton, CA (June 27, 2022) – Kenneth Edward Wassennar II (38) of Fullerton was identified as the victim of three hit-and-run crashes in Fullerton on Monday. According to LA Times, the incident reportedly occurred around 1:30 am.
Further investigation revealed that three different hit-and-run drivers struck the victim three times.
The Fullerton Police Department responded to a report of a fatal crash at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Southgate Avenue at around 1:30 am on Monday.
Then, they arrived at the scene and found the victim with serious and life-threatening injuries. Responding officers transported the victim to the hospital. Later, he was pronounced dead.
Authorities identified the victim as Kenneth Edward Wassennar II of Fullerton. According to the Orange County coroner’s office, he was an unhoused person.
Further investigation revealed that three different hit-and-run drivers struck the victim three times. The vehicles of the hit-and-run drivers were reportedly the following: a white Dodge Charger, a black Jeep Wrangler, and a Honda Civic.
