Khayriyyah Jones Got Killed in a Single-Vehicle Crash in Fresno
Fresno, CA (February 3, 2022) – Khayriyyah Jones (41) died in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 41 near Road 406 in Fresno. The incident happened around 8:30 pm on Wednesday.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Jones was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 63-year-old man. The couple was on the way home from Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino.
While on the road the driver lost control of the vehicle while heading southbound on Highway 41. Then, the vehicle went down into an embankment as it overturned.
Khayriyyah Jones died after the driver of the vehicle overcorrected and lost control.
Khayriyyah Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the man sustained major injuries. According to the CHP, they took him to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities suspect that alcohol is involved in the case. They are currently investigating the incident.
