Pedestrian Lake Elsinore hit by a car along the 15 Freeway
Lake Elsinore, CA (January 13, 2022) – Deborah Musquiz (69) died after getting hit by a car while walking along the 15 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the incident happened at around 5:40 pm on Sunday.
The CHP has shared that Musquiz was walking along the side of the freeway for unclear reasons when a passing vehicle hit her. The crash happened on the northbound lanes, which are located south of Nichols Road.

Responders immediately took her to Wildomar’s Inland Valley Medical Center. However, she died around an hour later.
It’s unclear why Musquiz was on the interstate. The investigation is ongoing for this case and no further information is available.
