Los Angeles, CA (January 4, 2024) – An LAX hit-and-run left a Hispanic woman fatal in the Westchester neighborhood. The suspect driver was identified and booked for felony hit-and-run. According to KTLA, the crash happened around 12:15 a.m. on Thursday.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred at West Century Boulevard and South Sepulveda Boulevard in the Westchester area.
Based on the report, the victim was standing in the road when a dark-colored Chevrolet SUV traveling southbound on Sepulveda Boulevard struck her.
Unfortunately, the woman, who investigators confirmed was not homeless, succumbed to her injuries.
At around 4:30 p.m., the authorities arrested the driver in this LAX hit-and-run, identified as 48-year-old Eduardo Alejandro Leiva. Eventually, he was booked on suspicion of felony hit-and-run.
