A Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Killed One Woman and Critically Injured One Man, Authorities Searching for Driver
Los Angeles, CA (January 16, 2024) – A Los Angeles hit-and-run left one woman fatal and another man in critical condition. Police are also searching for the driver involved in the crash. According to ABC7, the crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred at the 94th Street and Vermont Avenue intersection.
Both victims were crossing a marked crosswalk when a speeding silver 2023 Kia Sorento struck them.
While a woman was pronounced dead at the scene, responders brought an adult male to the hospital in critical condition. As of now, neither victim has yet been identified.
Shortly afterward, the driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle a few blocks away near Vermont Avenue and 90th Street. Investigators believe the driver continued to escape on foot.
As the investigation continues, a reward of up to $50,000 is being offered for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of this Los Angeles hit-and-run suspect.
