According to reports, the incident started when three people stole a vehicle in a Fremont parking lot. Then, the police detected the stolen vehicle on community surveillance cameras and went on a pursuit.
The suspected carjackers continued on the freeway on Interstate 680 in Milpitas, where they crashed into another vehicle.
