National City, CA (July 7, 2022) – Mariano Murillo Pulido (87) was identified as the victim in a pedestrian accident in National City. According to FOX 5 San Diego, the crash happened around 8:20 am on Tuesday.

The National City Police Department responded to a deadly crash involving a pickup truck and a pedestrian in National City.
Then, when the responders arrived, they declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. He was later identified as Mariano Murillo Pulido. As per the County Medical Examiner, the victim’s cause of death is due to blunt force injuries.
Further reports said that the pickup truck failed to give the right of way to the pedestrian while making a left turn. He then hit Pulido who was in the west crosswalk.
