Riverside Collision involving a Tesla Vehicle Killed Motorcyclist Marvin Walker
Riverside, CA (July 7, 2022) – Marvin Walker (48) of Lake Elsinore was identified as the fatality in a two-vehicle collision in Riverside. According to The Press-Enterprise, the incident happened around 4:47 am on Thursday.
A two-vehicle collision on 91 Freeway killed motorcyclist Marvin Walker.
The California Highway Patrol received reports of a collision involving a motorcyclist and a Tesla vehicle on the 91 Freeway in Riverside.
Authorities pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. He was then identified as Marvin Walker of Lake Elsinore.
According to CHP Spokesman Officer Keith Ballantyne, a Tesla Model Y headed east was behind a Yamaha V-Star when the collision occurred. Following the collision, Walker got ejected from his vehicle. He then died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Tesla did not sustain any injuries.
This incident remains under investigation. Right now, witnesses are asked to call the CHP at 951-637-8000.
