Matthew Solorzano Fatally Struck in 405 Freeway Hit-and-Run
Irvine, CA (January 4, 2022) – Matthew Solorzano (33) was identified as the fatality in a hit-and-run crash on 405 Freeway in Irvine. According to Los Angeles Times, the crash was reported around 7:30 pm on Tuesday.
Matthew Solorzano was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver on the 405 Freeway in Irvine.
The Orange County coroner’s office identified the victim in a hit-and-run crash on 405 Freeway in Irvine. Authorities identified him as Matthew Solorzano.
According to CHP’s Santa Ana station, they initially received a report of a man walking from the MacArthur Boulevard ramp onto the southbound lanes of the 405 Freeway.
Solorzano was then struck by a vehicle as he entered the HOV lane. The driver reportedly fled the scene after the crash.
Paramedics later pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Right now, the CHP seeks the public’s help in locating the driver responsible for the said crash.
