San Diego, CA (July 15, 2023) – A 63-year-old man sustained severe injuries after being involved in a pedestrian accident in Midtown San Diego. According to ABC10, the crash occurred around 1:00 pm around 1:23 a.m. on Saturday.

The San Diego Police Department responded to a Midtown San Diego pedestrian crash on 3500 Kettner Boulevard in San Diego.
A pedestrian, described as a 63-year-old male, incurred significant injuries from the collision.
Authorities mentioned that the pedestrian was crossing the 3500 block of Kettner Boulevard in an unmarked crosswalk and went into the path of a 2015 Honda C-RV driven by a 68-year-old man, causing them to collide with each other.
Paramedics then took the pedestrian to the hospital with severe but non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver reportedly remained at the scene.
