Five People Suffered Minor to Major Injuries After Getting Involved in a Modesto Truck Crash
Modesto, CA (July 17, 2022) – A Modesto truck accident on Highway 99 hospitalized five people due to minor to major injuries. According to ABC 10, the crash happened at around 5:14 am on Saturday.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s (CHP) Modesto office, a semi-truck went southbound on Highway 99 near Carpenter road.
Then, it rear-ended a 26,000-pound box truck, causing it to roll over on the highway. It then obstructed multiple lanes. A Buick then crashed into the box truck.
Later, responders arrived at the scene. Then, they transported five injured people to area hospitals. The CHP noted that three of the victims sustained severe injuries. Meanwhile, the two other victims sustained minor injuries.
At the moment, the CHP is investigating the crash. So far, they haven’t arrested anyone. They also don’t believe that intoxication contributed to the crash.
