Montclair, CA (October 17, 2021) – Luis Lopez, 35, was killed when struck by a vehicle on Westbound I-10, near Monte Vista Ave in San Bernardino County.
The collision was reported around 04:04 a.m. California Highway Patrol responded to the scene shortly thereafter. Lopez had been traveling on the Interstate 10 Freeway when he was struck by a car.
Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:35 a.m. and was not transported for further medical care.
The investigation is ongoing and it is not known whether drugs or alcohol are suspected as factors in the deadly crash.
