Cao Limin Fatally Struck in Blossom Hill Road Hit-and-Run, Her Daughter Also Sustained Injuries
San Jose, CA (March 28, 2023) – Cao Limin (45) of Los Gatos was identified as the fatality in a hit-and-run crash on Blossom Hill Road in San Jose. According to ABC7, the victims were struck around 6:50 pm on Sunday.
Cao Limin and her daughter were walking their dog in a marked crosswalk on Blossom Hill Road when a driver struck them and fled the scene.
The San Jose Police Department reported a fatal hit-and-run on Blossom Hill Road in San Jose.
Three victims were struck in the hit-and-run crash. A mother and a dog died at the scene while the daughter was hospitalized.
Authorities recently identified the mother as Cao Limin of Los Gatos.
According to police, Limin and her daughter were walking their dog in a marked crosswalk across Blossom Hill Road when they were struck by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle then fled the scene.
In a recent update, the San Jose PD announced that they had identified and arrested the suspect driver on Monday evening.
Meanwhile, residents in the neighborhood dropped flowers at the intersection to express their sympathies for the victim and her daughter.
