San Diego Motorcycle Crash Caused Motorcyclist to Suffer Multiple Injuries
San Diego, CA (June 21, 2022) – A San Diego motorcycle accident at the intersection of Market and 13th streets left a motorcyclist with multiple injuries. According to FOX 5, the crash happened at around 5:00 pm on Monday.
A motorcyclist suffered multiple injuries after getting in a San Diego motorcycle crash involving a tow truck.
According to San Diego police, a 42-year-old tow truck driver ran a red light westbound at the Market and 13th Street intersection. Then, the 29-year-old, riding a Triumph motorcycle, drove south on 13th Street at a green light.
The tow truck then hit the motorcyclist and caused multiple injuries, including a fractured left tibia/fibula, a fractured left foot, and a perforated spleen.
Authorities noted that the injuries weren’t life-threatening. Right now, they’re still investigating the case. However, they don’t believe alcohol played a role in this crash.
