Sonora, CA (January 30, 2024) – Natividad Deanda (89) of Tuolumne succumbed to fatal injuries after a Tuolumne Road crash involving a pickup truck and another vehicle. According to The Union Democrat, the crash happened around 4:10 p.m. on Friday.

Natividad Deanda, an 89-year-old resident of Tuolumne, tragically lost his life in a Tuolumne Road crash, as confirmed by the Tuolumne County Coroner.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Black Oak Road and Tuolumne Road when Natividad Deanda, driving a 1992 Toyota pickup south on Black Oak Road, collided with a westbound 2006 GMC Envoy driven by Janice Greengo, a 67-year-old Jamestown resident.
Despite attempts to avoid the crash, the front of the GMC struck the left side of the Toyota.
Natividad Deanda, who was not wearing a seatbelt, sustained fatal injuries. Meanwhile, Greengo, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries.
Moreover, authorities ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors, and the California Highway Patrol Sonora-area staff is conducting an ongoing investigation into this Tuolumne Road crash.
