Multiple calls to the Newport Beach Police alerted them of a crash at the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and Bowsprit Drive.
On arrival, officers found one driver who unfortunately succumbed to injuries.
Moreover, they also discovered a second victim who was immediately given urgent medical attention and transported to a nearby hospital.
The driver’s identity who tragically died is retained until their next of kin are informed.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the officers.
