According to the Santa Rosa police, a silver BMW hit a pedestrian, resulting in the pedestrian losing consciousness and lying on the road.
Consequently, the pedestrian was found in the northbound lane of Dutton Avenue, just beyond the intersection with Sebastopol Road.
Nearby, the silver BMW sedan bore significant front-end damage. Police reported that the driver remained at the scene.
Then, the emergency personnel transported the pedestrian to a local hospital, as their injuries were critical.
