A man was reportedly trapped between a tractor tire and a tree. His colleagues were able to free him; unfortunately, he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities identified the victim as Raymundo Yepez.
He was operating a tractor for a tree-removal company in an orchard at West Olsen Road at the time of the accident.
Right now, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office and the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health are working to investigate this unfortunate incident.
Meanwhile, loved ones remember Yepez as a hardworking family man. He is said to be survived by his wife and three children.
