Los Angeles, CA (January 31, 2023) – Tim Schultz and Chris Teagardin were identified as the fatalities in the Panorama City stolen vehicle pursuit in Los Angeles. According to KTLA, the pursuit began around 7:35 pm on Tuesday.

The Los Angeles Police Department has identified the victims as Tim Schultz and Chris Teagardi. The two victims were reported to be lifelong friends in their 40s.
According to authorities, the pursuit started around 7:35 pm after they received reports of a stolen truck in Panorama City.
The suspect then crashed into a sedan occupied by the two victims near the intersection of Lanark Street and Woodman Avenue.
The sedan driver reportedly died at the scene, and their passenger later died from their injuries.
Meanwhile, the suspect and their passenger survived the crash.
One of them also attempted to flee the scene, but officers from Foothill Division were able to detain the suspect. They were later taken to a hospital.
