Rialto, CA (June 14, 2023) – A Rialto hit-and-run crash left a pedestrian lying on the street with fatal injuries. According to The Sun, the crash occurred around 1:15 pm on June 12.

The Rialto Police Department responded to a hit-and-run crash at the 2500 block of South Riverside Avenue, where a pedestrian was left on the road with life-threatening injuries.
The pedestrian was later pronounced dead by the Rialto Fire Department due to the impact of the crash. The victim’s identity is yet to be identified.
According to the authorities, the vehicle that hit the pedestrian fled after causing the casualty.
Unfortunately, the pedestrian experienced several hits by other vehicles passing the road after the initial crash.
Moreover, authorities believe the hit-and-run driver was driving a red sedan with possibly front-end damage while heading northbound on Riverside Avenue, towards Santa Ana Avenue.
The department’s Major Traffic Collision Team, in search of any security footage, is investigating the cause of this Rialto hit-and-run crash.
