Madera County, CA (June 19, 2023) – A Madera hit-and-run crash left a pedestrian lying on the street with fatal injuries. According to Your Central Valley, the crash occurred around 12:41 a.m. on Saturday.

The California Highway Patrol responded to a hit-and-run crash on the east shoulder of Road 26 north of Mateo Way, where a pedestrian was left on the road with life-threatening injuries.
The pedestrian was found fatally injured at 7:38 a.m. by passing vehicles.
According to the authorities, an unknown vehicle shifted onto the east shoulder, striking the pedestrian.
The driver then fled the scene in a northern direction without aiding the injured victim after causing the casualty.
Right now, CHP is seeking the public’s help identifying a driver involved in this Maderna hit-and-run crash.
