Los Angeles, CA (June 19, 2023) – A Valley Glen hit-and-run crash left a pedestrian with fatal injuries. According to KTLA5, the crash occurred around 1:00 a.m. on Monday.

The Los Angeles Police Department reported a hit-and-run crash in the Valley Glen neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley, leaving a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.
The pedestrian reportedly died at the scene.
According to the authorities, the pedestrian was walking on Sherman Way near the Bellaire Avenue intersection when a vehicle, described as an older-model white van, hit him.
LAPD Detective Lisset Fuentes mentioned that the vehicle stopped at a nearby shopping center before fleeing the accident scene.
Furthermore, investigators believe that the pedestrian, aged 30 to 40, was walking outside the crosswalk when the incident occurred.
The van is a 2000s model. However, authorities are yet to provide a description of the driver.
Currently, police are seeking any surveillance video that may help investigate this Valley Glen hit-and-run crash.
