Pico-Robertson Crash Left One Pedestrian Dead and Two Seriously Injured in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA (June 8, 2023) – A 51-year-old male succumbed to fatal injuries in a Pico-Robertson crash in Los Angeles. A 48-year-old female and a 19-year-old male also sustained serious injuries. According to KTLA5, crews responded to the scene around 5:28 pm.

When firefighter-paramedics arrived, two of the three pedestrians were found pinned under a black Hyundai sedan.
They later transported the pedestrians to a hospital. The victims were identified as a 48-year-old female, a 51-year-old male, and a 19-year-old male.
Unfortunately, the 51-year-old male later succumbed to his injuries.
Cpt. Ben Fernandes, with the Los Angeles Police Department, confirmed that the three victims were related.
Meanwhile, the driver was only treated at the scene and reportedly declined to be transported to a hospital.
According to authorities, an eastbound Hyundai sedan on West Pico Boulevard attempted to swerve to avoid stopped traffic. The driver then jumped the curb onto the sidewalk, hit three pedestrians, and crashed into a Chase Bank building.
This Pico-Robertson crash also left a portion of the building badly damaged.
The driver remained at the scene and fully cooperated with the investigation.
