Sacramento, CA (August 22, 2022) – Richard Albert Tam (48) was identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run crash on La Mancha Way and Elder Court in Sacramento. According to CBS News, the incident was reported around Saturday midnight.

The Sacramento Police Department responded to reports of an injured person on the roadway on La Mancha Way and Elder Court in Sacramento.
When responding officers arrived, they located a man identified as Richard Albert Tam suffering from major injuries due to a hit-and-run crash.
The Sacramento Fire Department was able to transport Tam to an area hospital. Unfortunately, Tam was later pronounced dead.
According to police, the suspect left before police arrived at the scene. Further information regarding the suspect has not been released.
