Six-vehicle car crash casualty identified as Linda Martinez-Harper
Rio Vista, CA (January 18, 2022) – Linda Martinez-Harper (72) died after getting involved in a six-vehicle crash at Highway 12 and Highway 160 near Rio Vista.
The incident happened on Saturday at around 9 am. The Montezuma Fire Protection District incident commander declared the crash as a mass-casualty event.
According to reports, Martinez-Harper was taken to NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield. However, she was later pronounced dead.
According to Rio Vista police, the collisions occurred when the road was foggy. The Police and a Public Works crew implemented a mitigation plan to help with traffic as they avoid adding to road congestion. However, traffic remained slow as the California Highway Patrol finished clearing the scene.
