Sonoma County, CA (August 27, 2023) – A River Road hit-and-run crash left an 18-year-old pedestrian with fatal injuries. According to Mercury News, the crash was reported around 7:29 a.m. on Monday.

Initially, officers received information about an accident involving a Toyota Highlander and an 18-year-old pedestrian on River Road, west of Windsor in the Forestville area.
Unfortunately, the pedestrian, struck by the vehicle, sustained deadly injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.
However, officers stated that the vehicle suspected had left the accident scene.
