Ryan Oliver Aguirre Succumbed to Injuries Sustained in Alleged DUI Head-On Crash in Sacramento
Sacramento, CA (November 28, 2022) – Ryan Oliver Aguirre (18) was identified as the fatality in a head-on crash involving a suspected drunk driver in West Sacramento. According to The Sacramento Bee, the crash occurred around 9:30 pm.

The California Highway Patrol reported a head-on crash involving a suspected drunk driver near the Rio Vista Bridge in Sacramento.
The victim had to be extricated from his vehicle. He later succumbed to his injuries in an ambulance while being transported to a hospital. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as an 18-year-old Sacramento man, Ryan Oliver Aguirre.
According to the CHP investigators, a southbound 2004 Subaru crossed into the northbound lane and crashed head-on into a 1998 Honda driven by Aguirre. Aguirre’s vehicle then went down into an embankment on the east side of Highway 160.
Meanwhile, the 2004 Subaru driver, only identified as a West Sacramento woman, sustained minor injuries and reportedly showed signs of intoxication at the scene.
Authorities later arrested and booked the West Sacramento woman on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and felony DUI causing injury.
