Bakersfield, CA (January 16, 2024) – A Sand Canyon car crash left a 66-year-old Tehachapi man fatally injured after leaving the roadway and ultimately colliding with several trees. According to KGET, the crash occurred on January 13, 2024.

Eventually, his vehicle veered off the road, plunged down an embankment, and collided with multiple trees.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the impact ejected the man from his vehicle, resulting in fatal injuries on the spot. Reportedly, he was not wearing a seatbelt during the crash.
At present, the authorities are determining if drugs or alcohol played roles in this Sand Canyon car crash.
Meanwhile, the identity of the deceased will be released by the coroner’s office in due course.
