Serenity Lira Killed in a Car Crash on 10 Freeway in Banning
Banning, CA (June 11, 2022) – Authorities identified Serenity Lira (19) of Fontana as the fatality in a solo vehicle crash on 10 Freeway on Saturday. According to Patch, the crash reportedly occurred around 12:35 am.
Serenity Lira was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau pronounced Serenity Lira dead at the scene of the crash near Hargrave Street. Then, another person was taken to a local hospital due to moderate injuries.
This accident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
Following the unfortunate loss of Lira’s family, Angelique Gomez, Lira’s aunt has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral costs for the victim.
“Serenity was beautiful and fearless. Her caring and courageous spirit taught others to be accepting of themselves and enjoy life to its fullest. At only 19 years old, Serenity was so full of life and love.” Gomez shared on the page.
