Turlock, CA (November 7, 2023) – Shane Hurst (33) of Turlock succumbed to fatal injuries in a Turlock hit-and-run crash after a fleeing vehicle hit him while walking his bike. According to ABC10, the police responded to the accident at around 5:50 p.m. on Monday.

Around 5:50 p.m., officers received reports of the crash in the 3100 block of West Christoffersen Parkway. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered Shane Hurst in the center median with a severe head injury.
Paramedics then transported him to a hospital. However, unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene. Police are now looking for the driver.
Authorities describe the vehicle as a light-colored Hummer (H2) from a model year between 2003 and 2009. Police believe there may be noticeable damage on the front driver’s side.
