Murrieta, CA (July 7, 2023) – Six victims, identified as Abigail Tellez-Vargas (33), Riese Lenders (25), Manuel Vargas-Regalado (32), Lindsey Gleiche (31), Alma Razick (51), and Ibrahem Razick (46) sustained fatal injuries from a Murrieta plane crash near French Valley Airport. According to ABC10, the accident occurred around 4:15 a.m. on Saturday.

The authorities responded to a tragic Murrieta plane crash involving a small plane near French Valley Airport, leaving six people dead.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Coroner identified the six victims on Sunday as:
- 33-year-old Abigail Tellez-Vargas of Murrieta,
- 25-year-old Riese Lenders of Rancho Palos Verdes,
- 32-year-old Manuel Vargas-Regalado of Temecula,
- 31-year-old Lindsey Gleiche of Huntington Beach,
- 51-year-old Alma Razick of Temecula and
- 46-year-old Ibrahem Razick of Temecula.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, a Cessna C550 business jet flying from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas crashed near the French Valley Airport in Murrieta due to poor weather conditions and low visibility.
At a news conference on Saturday, Elliott Simpson, a National Transportation Safety Board investigator, stated that a foggy marine layer of air mass began to surround the area, causing reduced visibility before the pilot planned to land.
The pilot then informed air traffic controllers that he planned to undertake a missed approach technique, which occurs when a pilot attempts to land despite being unable to see the runway.
Unfortunately, all six occupants of the small plane succumbed to their injuries as the plane was engulfed in flames.
Moreover, The FAA and NTSB are investigating this Murrieta plane crash. The NTSB will provide a preliminary report on the accident within two weeks.
