Stanislaus County, CA (November 21, 2023) – A Stanislaus County crash caused fatal injuries to a man and minor injuries to a firefighter after their vehicles collided near Geer Road and Yosemite Boulevard. According to ABC10, the crash occurred at around 1:40 a.m. on Tuesday.

The crash occurred at approximately 1:40 a.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Geer Road and Yosemite Boulevard when a 32-year-old man driving a Ford Fusion ran a red light and collided with the right side of a Ford Explorer.
Unfortunately, the Fusion driver was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene. His identity is yet to be released.
Meanwhile, the SUV driver, identified as Paul Spani, a firefighter with Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District, sustained minor injuries.
Responders then transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, the cause of this Stanislaus County crash remains unknown and is currently under investigation.
