Suspected Sacramento DUI Crash Left One Fatal and Three People Hospitalized
Sacramento, CA (July 9, 2023) – A 38-year-old woman succumbed to fatal injuries in a suspected Sacramento DUI crash near Jibboom Street and Richards Boulevard. Another woman and two children also sustained injuries. According to ABC10, the crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
A Sacramento DUI crash caused fatal injuries to a 38-year-old woman. Another woman and two children were also hospitalized.
The Sacramento Police Department responded to a fatal Sacramento DUI crash near Jibboom Street and Richards Boulevard.
Two adult women and two children sustained injuries in the crash. Unfortunately, one of the victims, a 38-year-old woman, died at the scene.
On the other hand, responders took the other adult victim and two children to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.
According to authorities, a suspected DUI driver identified as 27-year-old Israel Campos, struck the four victims. He also showed signs of intoxication at the time of the crash.
Police later arrested Campos on suspicion of felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.
