According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred when Friesen rode his motorcycle westbound along Millerton Road and unexpectedly veered into the opposing lane.
This sudden maneuver resulted in a devastating collision with a car traveling in the opposite direction.
Unfortunately, the impact of the crash caused Friesen to be ejected from the vehicle. He then succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
Meanwhile, the occupants of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries. Responders also took them to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
