Terry Nilsen Jr. Died after a DUI Collision in Chico
Chico, CA (March 8, 2022) – Terry Nilsen Jr. (22) died on Esplanade after Chase Jacobsen (24) hit him while driving under the influence. According to Nationwide Report, the incident happened at around 12:39 am on Sunday.
According to authorities, Nilsen Jr. rode his moped on Esplanade’s 3500 block near Shasta Elementary School. Then, Jacobsen struck him while driving a pickup truck, wedging Nilsen Jr. underneath.
Terry Nilsen Jr. died after Jacobsen’s pickup truck hit him.
Nilsen Jr. sustained major injuries. Then, he died later in a hospital. Meanwhile, officers arrested Jacobsen for driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter with no bail.
Right now, authorities are reviewing the incident. No other details are available at the moment.
