San Diego, CA (November 1, 2022) – Suzanne Thompson (59) of Henderson, Nevada, Mary Small (70), and Andrew Small (62) were identified as the fatalities in a head-on collision on Mission Beach in San Diego. According to CBS 8, the crash happened around 3:00 pm on Saturday.

As per recent reports, authorities identified three fatalities in the accident. The driver of the Ford EcoSport, Andrew Small, died at the scene due to blunt-force trauma.
Suzanne Thompson of Henderson, Nevada also died at the scene. She was an occupant of the other vehicle involved.
The third fatality was Mary Small, she succumbed to her injuries on Monday. Mary was seated beside her husband, Andrew, during the accident.
For reasons yet to be known, Andrew reportedly slumped over the wheel of his southbound vehicle while going at a high rate of speed. Then, he ended up on the path of an oncoming Kia Sportage on the northbound side of the street.
Right now, authorities are yet to determine why Andrew became incapacitated behind the wheel of his vehicle. Alcohol intoxication did not appear to be a factor in the accident.
Meanwhile, the couple’s companion and two other occupants of the other vehicle were treated for minor injuries.
