Oildale, CA (October 2, 2023) – Tiffany Amber Stevens (30) of Bakersfield died at the scene of an Oildale pedestrian crash after she went under a vehicle following a collision. According to the KGET, the accident happened around 9:29 p.m. on Sunday.

Tiffany Amber Stevens, a 30-year-old Bakersfield resident, succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene after a vehicle struck her and pinned her under.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the identity of the pedestrian.
Authorities reported that the incident occurred when Stevens was struck by a vehicle on Roberts Lane, west of MacArthur Drive, at around 9:29 p.m. on Sunday, October 1. Unfortunately, Stevens died at the accident scene.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2005 Toyota went westbound on Roberts Lane within the second traffic lane at 35 miles per hour. Following closely behind, a 2009 BMW traveled in the same westbound direction at approximately 25 miles per hour.
For reasons unknown, Stevens crossed northbound outside the designated crosswalk on Roberts Lane, directly in the path of the Toyota.
The front left of the Toyota then struck the pedestrian, propelling her into the westbound number two traffic lane on Roberts Lane, where the BMW subsequently hit her.
Meanwhile, there is no evidence to suggest the involvement of drugs or alcohol in this Oildale pedestrian crash.
Additionally, both drivers in the collision remained at the scene and fully cooperated with the investigation.
