On June 11, the California Highway Patrol responded to a deadly Trinity River car crash that caused a 72-year-old Trinidad driver fatal injuries.

According to the report, a Ford Ranger, driven by the 72-year-old driver, traveled westbound on State Route 299 and veered across the double-yellow lines, entering the eastbound lane and directly colliding with Angeli’s vehicle.
The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in a head-on crash between the two vehicles.
Despite sustaining significant injuries, Angeli demonstrated life-saving efforts and managed to extricate the unconscious driver from the Ranger just moments before the vehicle burst into flames. The situation escalated rapidly, and seconds after they escaped, the Ranger was completely engulfed in fire.
Unfortunately, the Ford driver succumbed to injuries at the scene. The police are yet to release the driver’s identity in this Trinity River car crash.
