Laguna Beach, CA (March 11, 2023) – Eve Amanda Corinne Bartlet (25) was identified as the fatality in a pedestrian accident on South Coast Highway in Laguna Beach. According to Los Angeles Times, police responded to the scene around 6:24 pm on Friday.

A fatal pedestrian accident in the area of South Coast Highway and Mountain Road was reported in a news release by the Laguna Beach Police Department on Friday.
Marine Safety Officers initially attended to a pedestrian lying in the roadway. Then, fire department personnel continued the life-saving efforts.
Unfortunately, the pedestrian, now identified as Eve Amanda Corinne Bartlet, succumbed to fatal injuries.
According to the preliminary investigation, a sedan struck Bartlet while she was crossing the highway in the southbound lanes. She was reportedly outside the crosswalk at the time of the incident.
It was determined that drugs or alcohol did not factor in the crash. The driver also remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The police also added that the victim was experiencing homelessness.
Right now, this unfortunate incident remains under investigation.
