Police responded to a report of a young boy lying in the roadway on C. Street after being involved in a hit-and-run crash in Yuba City.
The victim, only identified as a 12-year-old boy, reportedly sustained multiple injuries on his back, hip, ribs, and ankle.
According to the victim’s family, the boy was crossing the street near the Gauche Aquatic Park on C Street when the crash happened.
The boy’s family calls for justice. Currently, the boy’s mother is asking anyone who was in the area on Wednesday afternoon or lives in the area and may have a security camera to contact their family or the police.
