Injuries Sustained in La Mesa Dump Truck Crash
LA MESA, CA (August 5, 2018) – At least one person was hospitalized following a crash that occurred between a vehicle and a dump truck on Tuesday morning, July 31.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred at the intersection of Fury Lane and Avocado Boulevard at around 7:00 a.m.
According to the CHP report, a blue Toyota SUV rolled over before landing back on its tires due to the impact of the collision. The SUV then ended up halfway on the nearby sidewalk. The vehicle also reportedly crashed into a school fence, a San Diego Gas, and Electric power box in the area.
Emergency responders including paramedics responded at the area to assist any person who may have sustained injuries in the accident. Reports stated that one person was rushed to Sharp Memorial Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
The names of those involved was not immediately released. Authorities are currently conducting a full investigation into this incident.
