Woman Hurt after Sacramento Multi-Car Traffic Crash on Highway 50
SACRAMENTO, CA (August 7, 2018) – One victim sustained major injuries as a result of a crash involving multiple vehicles on Tuesday, July 31, 2018.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the incident transpired at about 2:44 p.m. on the westbound lanes of Highway 50 near 5 Freeway. The identities of the people involved in this accident were not immediately available.
CHP officials reported that at least four vehicles were involved in the crash including a blue Sedan and a Toyota Corolla.
Sometime later, authorities dispatched a single ground ambulance, and paramedics found a woman was lying along the highway. Medical personnel confirmed this woman was pinned inside the Corolla and suffered serious injuries. She was taken to UC Davis Medical Center for medical treatments.
Authorities dispatched towing services to clear wreckage and debris from the highway.
