Katelyn Dembowski

Katelyn Dembowski is a 2020 graduate of University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now known as University of California Law San Francisco). While at Hastings, she was the President of the UC Hastings ADR (Negotiations) Team, Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Hastings Women’s Law Journal, and the Founding President of the Consumer Attorneys Society of UC Hastings. Katelyn attended undergrad at California Lutheran University (CLU) where she was a member of the Women’s Water Polo team and graduated in 2017. At CLU, Katelyn spent a semester in Washington D.C. working with the DC Attorney General in the child protection division. Katelyn then spent a semester at the University of Oxford, Balliol College, studying jurisprudence and international political economy. During her senior year, Katelyn worked at the Ventura County Counsel’s Office and volunteered with the Ventura Legal Aid Clinic.
Throughout law school, Katelyn worked as a law clerk at the renowned personal injury firm, the Dolan Law Firm, where she continued to work her first year of practice. There, she met Casey Hultin, who she worked under and eventually sat second chair for in trial. The two became close friends and now work together on Ms. Hultin’s team at Jacoby and Meyers. Katelyn also spent a few years working in personal injury defense, defending some of the world’s largest corporations in transportation litigation and security services litigation.
Katelyn recently moved to Ventura County after living in the Bay Area for the last 8 years. Katelyn is a die-hard NY Yankees fan (but congratulates the Dodgers on their 2024 WS Win…), reality TV aficionado, and avid sailor. In her free time, you can usually find her and her pug, Lucy, out on hikes and spending time with her family.
