Head-On Collision Blocks Lanes on Highway 65
WHEATLAND, CA (July 6, 2017) – The authorities responded to a two-vehicle collision which resulted to vehicle fire on Highway 65 at approximately 2:41 a.m. Thursday.
The California Highway Patrol said that a red sedan and a white sedan blocked the roadway. The case was said to be a head-on accident and one car reportedly caught fire in the incident.
An ambulance was called on scene for needed medical attention. The paramedics had not reported any injury from the crash.
The fire department quickly responded. Lanes were reportedly blocked in the incident. Towing services were requested to help clear the area.
An investigation was ongoing to identify the cause of the crash and the car fire.
